Governing rules for the GoBuy.lk Multivendor Ecosystem. Last updated: June 2026.
1. The Platform & Agreement
GoBuy.lk acts as a decentralized multi-vendor marketplace connecting third-party sellers ("Vendors") with buyers ("Customers"). By accessing or utilizing the platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. GoBuy.lk does not own, store, or sell the products directly unless explicitly specified. The contract of sale exists solely between the Vendor and the Customer.
2. Customer Accounts & Verification
To execute transactions, users must create a verified account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activities occurring under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false details, violate local regulations, or attempt to disrupt the operational network.
3. Payments & Gateway Protocols
All payments processed via our secure payment gateways (including PayHere) are subject to fraud screening and authorization. Transactions are executed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR). Funds remain secured in our operational queue until delivery is completed or confirmed by our tracking partner network.
4. Shipping, Delivery & Refusals
Delivery charges and dispatch timelines are configured individually by each Vendor. GoBuy.lk is not directly liable for delivery delays caused by shipping carrier anomalies, adverse weather, or incorrect addresses. Customers are required to inspect package integrity upon receipt.
5. Returns, Refunds & Dispute Matrix
Refund claims must be initiated within 7 days of package delivery. If a product is defective, counterfeit, or differs significantly from the catalog description, the vendor is legally obligated to offer a full replacement or refund. GoBuy.lk administers a dispute resolution framework to mediate conflicts between buyers and vendors.
6. Platform Integrity & Liability
You agree not to bypass security nodes, scrape platform data, or inject malicious code into GoBuy.lk. We provide the site on an "as is" basis and disclaim all warranties of any kind. Under no circumstances will GoBuy.lk be liable for indirect, incidental, or punitive damages resulting from transactions conducted on the platform.
